Peter Gabriel (of Genesis) has signed the CRAC Europe anti-bullfight manifesto.
On April 17, on the France 3 channel, Fadjen, the little black bull saved by Christophe Thomas from the bullring, and the group CRAC Europe, will appear on the programme 30 millions d’amis (30 million friends).
In French, but you can see a nice photo of Fadjen, who can be virtually adopted via the CRAC web site:
In the south west, Jenofa Cuisset wrote an open letter, printed in the newspaper Sud-ouest, to the president of the bullfighting commission in Orthez, denouncing free entry to bullfights for children.
Up to date, 90 French deputies (MPs) have declared in favour of abolition:
Haut-Rhin is the first French department to declare themselves 100% anticorrida, in that all their deputies are signed up to Bill 2735.
A billboard campaign is being prepared for 2011, with some towns already booked.
