Animal Blessing and Thanksgiving Service for Pets – Kensal Green.

Saturday 4th October 2014 at 2.00 pm.

Celebrating World Animal Day, the feast day of St.Francis of Assisi, an Animal Blessing and Thanksgiving Service for Pets will be held at St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Mortimer Road, Kensal Green, London NW10 5SN (two minute’s walk from Kensal Green tube station and the no. 18 bus route).

The service, led by the Rev’d Graham Noyce, provides an opportunity for people of whatever denomination to come together and celebrate the special relationship we have with the animals who share our lives.

All well behaved pets welcome but if your pet is nervous or you wish to remember a much-loved pet who has passed away, you may bring a photo instead to be displayed and blessed during the service.

If you are unable to attend in person, you are welcome to send us the name and some details of your pet for inclusion in the service.

All are invited to stay for refreshments after the service.

For further details of the service please email animalblessing@hotmail.co.uk or telephone 07958 950137.

“Not to hurt our humble brethren is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission – to be of service to them wherever they require it.”
