20/08/2014: The Wildlife Trusts have just published their Badger Vaccination Progress Report for 2011 – 2013.
Ten Wildlife Trusts have been running badger vaccination programmes, with another three about to start their own programmes, and this report covers the case for vaccination and provides a thorough update on what has been achieved.
The Wildlife Trusts believe that the programmes demonstrate that vaccination is “a viable and cost effective option” in the fight against Bovine TB, and calls the Government and the industry to action.
