So Full of God is Every Creature…

QCA was present at Britain Yearly Meeting Summer Gathering on Thursday, July 30 09.

The organisers helpfully put our table right by the café area in the Exhibition Hall, from which we could also see the many birds on the lake.

Quite a few people visited the café, and us, in between sessions of a very packed timetable. Those who stopped to look at and buy merchandise were very interested in our work – and over the course of the day, only three proved to be already QCA members. Many thanks to Bill Palethorpe for helping out, as promised.

Some 15 attended the lunch hour talk about our group and we very much hope you will decide to join us. I spoke about the groups we supported, our interfaith links, our lobbying to help Friends’ House achieve their Good Egg award and the peace initiative which we are keen to develop.

It was also good to meet Bal Saini and Jean Stephens of the Friends’ Vegetarian Society, with whom we hope to have closer contact.
