The Empty the Tanks campaign works to end the captivity of cetaceans by Sea Life. Sea Life (part of Merlin Entertainments) currently hold three Beluga Whales in Shanghai which are forced to participate daily in circus style shows. Empty the Tanks and CAPS are jointly organising a day of coordinated protest on June 6th.

Protests will be held in London, Birmingham and Manchester, and are to pressurise Sea Life/ Merlin Entertainments to end the “performances” and fund a sanctuary for the captive whales.
