Fundraising Dinner at the Indian Vegetarian Restaurant Chapel Market Islington

Our committee member Feargus O’Connor hosted a dinner in aid of the Dr Hadwen Trust (DHT) and the Animal Interfaith Alliance (AIA) on Sunday 1st June.
Seven people attended the meal, including QCA patron André Menache, Judith Wilkings, QCA member, and Steve Altmann, Treasurer of the newly formed AIA.
Other dinner guests were from the Jewish Vegetarian Society and the Unitarian Church. A total of £132 was collected and the Treasurer of AIA received his first donation of £55. The remaining £77, which included an additional donation, will be sent to DHT.
Many thanks to Feargus for hosting the event and special thanks to Mohammed Safa, the proprietor of the restaurant, who generously donated the £6 for each meal which was divided equally between the charities.
Well done Feargus for organising the event and thank you to Mohammed for hosting it. I was sorry that I could not travel up to London to join you all – I must have missed a really good do! 🙂
