On 21st. April 2013, Team PAWS volunteers with their founder Nilesh Bhanage did yet another fantastic job of vaccinating 45 cats & dogs in Borivali area near Mumbai.
Every year PAWS vaccinates feral cats in Dattapada area, this being the 6th consecutive year.

Note from Nilesh:
‘These cats live in slums, but are free roaming. They are fed once a day by a lady. Most of them are sterilized, but many people in Borivali leave kittens and cats there if they do not find homes for them.
We have a cat grasper imported from Scotland, which we use if the cats are not friendly, but these are the ones who comes easily. The lady shakes the jar of cat food & makes special noise & the cats just run to her.’
